CLIMATE CHANGE!
The term “climate change” is know as the variations in the conditions of the environment/weather (extreme hot, dry, wet) of the Earth itself. Rising floods, storms, extreme hot weather or any other natural disaster, triggered due to climate change. There are a lot of reasons that triggers the climate change which includes external as well as internal factors. There are a lot of reasons why climate change has become a serious concern worldwide and the measures that are to be taken or being taken to lessen the impact of it on the Earth. One of the major impact pf climate change is that a dozen of species of animals and plants have gone extinct and no one knows how many more would go extinct in the coming years, keeping in view the conditions of the Earth and the extinction of plants and animals, it will have a negative impact on human beings.
THE REASON FOR THE RISE OF CLIMATE CHANGE:
Human activities is to be blamed for the rising of climate change year to year. That includes deforestation, utilizing fossil fuels, industrial waste, (Plastic etc) and this on the other hand results in damaged ecosystem. Other human activities that is posing a serious threat to eco system and ozone layer includes fertilizer use, that emits nitrous oxide and so many other processes that emits fluorinated gases. The main reason behind the rising temperature of Earth is human activities and due to these human activities the Earth atmosphere has to bear large amounts of toxic carbon dioxide and so many other greenhouse gases which in result damages the ozone layer and the temperature rises due to the damaged ozone layer since the ozone layer is protecting the entire planet and life on Earth by absorbing destructive radiations from the sun. Rising of climate change also includes rising of sea levels, acidic ocean, melting ice bergs which is resulting in rise of sea levels.
NATURAL REASONS:
- Volcanic eruption.
- Orbital alterations.
- Solar radiations.
- Intensity of the Sun.
Due to these conditions, the temperature of the Earth rises extremely which leaves a negative impact on the life on Earth.
IMPACT ON ATMOSPHERE:
Due to climate change, the life on Earth has to bear many consequences, the sea level is rising, glaciers are melting, eco system is changing, toxic gases are increasing which is giving rise to extreme temperature, wildlife, marine life are going extinct. Furthermore, if no one does anything about the climate change, these changes will become worse and eventually it will all lead to extinction and the environment will to bear heavy losses which is irreversible.
1. Extreme weather:
When the atmosphere of earth heats up, it is more likely to collect more water and this results in excessive raining. Changes in weather patterns, extremely heated and drier weathers. Due to the rise in temperature, the chances of disasters are more likely to happen that includes floods, storms, droughts, heatwaves etc and all of this will have a significant negative impact on life on Earth.
2. Health risks:
Some research conclude that In coming years, frequency of deaths will be accelerated due to climate change since global temperature is more likely to trigger illnesses from the worsen atmosphere conditions and heatwaves. Climate change is also giving rise to air pollution, which will have a negative impact on the health of people and worsen the health problems of people who are already suffering from various illnesses. Extreme weather conditions for instance, extreme storms, floods can lead to drinking water contamination and infrastructure damages due to the variations in storms.
3. Rising Sea Levels:
Glaciers are melting due to global warming and due to this the sea levels are rising like never before and there are so many regions in the world that maybe vulnerable to the rising of sea levels due to living in a coastal area. The urban settings residing along coastlines, infrastructure, power plants and so on, all are at great risk from rising sea levels.
4. More caustic oceans:
Due to the reason that the oceans absorbs toxic greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide that human activities releases, the oceans have become more caustic, acidic. Additionally, the industrial waste and plastic waste dumped into the oceans is also affecting the underwater life and this in result posing a serious threat to the marine life and so many fishes have gone extinct. Moreover, fishing production will impact human lives as well since the oceans are becoming more acidic and underwater life is getting affected negatively because of it.
CONCLUSION:
Everyone is well acquainted that climate change has become a serious topic in the world and despite knowing the consequences of it, still so many things are still being utilized that is triggering the affect of climate change. Climate change has triggered due to industrial revolution, industrial revolution has just made it even worse than ever. The toxic emissions of greenhouse gases has resulted in extreme temperature of the Earth. The need for transferring the energy to renewable energy has become really important since the world is depending on fossil fuels for energy and switching to renewable energy can significantly lessen the impact of climate change. Moreover, recycling process in an environment friendly way can go a long way. People need to practice more environmental friendly processes to lessen the impact of it.
