Simon Wagner won 2. Rallye W4 2019, Neubauer is new Austrian Rally Champion

I know a lot about Austrian rallying. I watch Raimund Baumschlager live for the first time in 1993 when he drove Red Bull sponsored Ford Escort RS Cosworth group A and later followed some other drivers such as Andreas Aigner who also drove in our national championship on some rallies.

Two years ago we had super fast Niki Mayr-Melnhof who won Rally Kumrovec with Ford Fiesta R5 and the same thing did Hermann Neubauer this season who drove that rally as a preparation for some other rallies from Austrian Championship.

Simon Wagner driver Škoda Fabia R5 prepared by BRR, team owned by Baumschlager and anybody that follows rallying knows that his team rents only super reliable cars.

This is a great success by young Wagner to win some national event in Austrian but the real honors go to Hermann Neubauer who won the whole championship.
