Breen to drive for Hyundai at WRC Rally Australia 2019

Hi, Steemers!

Craig Breen is back for another rally with Hyundai Motorsport and he will replace Andreas Mikkelsen behind a wheel of their Hyundai i20 WRC. I am pretty shocked with that decision but when we consider that Dani Sordo is probably one of the most reliable drivers in the WRC, then it is normal that Mikkelsen is the one to be replaced.

Yeah, Sordo rarely or almost never crashes his cars and that's what every team boss want - fast and reliable driver.

So Breen got another chance for his drive. I guess that Mikkelsen is out of the contract with Hyundai at the end of the current season so that is another reason to be replaced. What is a story behind Craig Breen and Hyundai, no one knows at the moment.

It is said that Hyundai works on a new R5 car and maybe they will be offered a contract for development and drive in WRC2 series in 2020. Everything is possible.

He must finish in Australia to get a good manufacturer's points because Hyundai is in really good position to take that manufacturer's crown this year.
