What the financial elite say about Bitcoin
Eye opening video. I'm beginning to think regulation is just a code word for control. After giving your opinion on bitcoin, to then follow up a question about blockchain with "What is blockchain?" very telling. They don't seem to be able to wrap their mind around a world without middlemen and regulation. To their credit a few seemed to see the world changing potential.
They are symbols of the past. They will have been told what bitcoin is in very general terms by an adviser trying to milk them of money but won't have any concept of blockchain or it's uses outside of currency. As you said, they won't be able to get their heads round the concept of no middleman guaranteeing transactions and taking a slice of the action!
Idiot - "What I think about Bitcoin? I think its a great opportunity for..er..a uh protocol for the network aspect of it. I don't know if the currency is going to survive but I do love the...the infrastructure they are putting in place for an alternative network"
Reporter - "Blockchian technology?"
Idiot - "Blockchain?! I don't even know what that is! Haha... I'm Sorry hahahaha..." internal screaming
