The SportsPodium Ambassador network

Creating an amazing system is only one step to a successful solution. Even an amazing business model may not be good enough. You need user adoption.

This is key and if you want to build a social media success. You have to get user uptake, fast and wide! And this is exactly what we will do. We have a vastly experienced technology team, a number of successful entrepreneurneurs and business people to make sure we can build the system and that the business model is completely succesful. In fact we KNOW it will be so succesful that the community and the platform will be self sustaining from year 4 at the very least! But now we must start the fire.

Starting the fire

Our strategy is simple. This is first and foremost a sports community. And there are Icons and stars that our demographic, the 12-25 year old, look up to. Through bringing them on as a network of ambassadors we will be able to reach and rapidly bring young sports people into the platform. These stars typically have millions of social media followers, are in the publick eye through media and speaking opportunities. They have MASSIVE reach. And youngsters would love to associate with them. A Tendulkar or Beckham talking about the platform and why you MUST SIGN UP ... that is the task of our ambassador.

Why would an Ambassador join?

For two reasons. Firstly as sports people they are VERY aware of how loaded the dice are in sport. The challenges and manipulation you face. The corruption, theft and bullying that take place. The little you actually earn from the money you generate, and how layers of administration and sycophants siphon of the money that they make through their dedication and effort. With every top sports person we speak to we get the same response. After years of being forced to keep quiet and comply, they are first careful, then it turns to realization that they can make a difference. Step one, get them to listen has proven easy, and inspiring.

Secondly, they will be rewarded. Besides from the very few, most top sports people surprisingly have very little left after sport and need another career or source of income. SportsPodium will generate and allocate POD's to these ambassadors based on their success of growing their sporting code membership. This will not only be a share of the daily POD creation (what you earn from posting in STEEM) BUT ALSO from the part of the advertising revenue generated on the platform. In fact these ambassadors have massive brand power and networks in the corporate world, and will be able to directly drive advertising revenue.

How are we doing

Brilliantly. Our first ambassador to join was Natalie du Toit, 13 times Olympic swimming champion, Honorary Member of the British Empire, sits on the South African Olympic Committee. And through Natalie and our Sports PR star, Chris (who has represented multiple olympians over the last 20 years) we have had many very positive engagements.
