Are You A Moving Advertisement For Promoting STEEM?
This post was sparked by a fellow Steemian who shared Mavs owner Mark Cuban’s plan to begin accepting BTC as a valid means of purchase.
This is excellent news; because, it gives validation to the crypto world. It forces those with closed minds, to open their exhaust fans to let this new form of currency into their mindset.
The fact that Cuban is open to accepting BTC and ETH is only the beginning. He will be the innovative pioneer who put action to his words of support for crypto.
He was so bold as to say the he’d consider accepting other currencies; TBD.
Of course, STEEM sounds like a good choice for consideration. The platforms it represents, i.e. Steemit, busy.org, et al, offer intrinsic value which far exceeds that of other social-media platforms. The more word gets out that it pays and invests in your future, it will gain more traction against platforms known for getting rich off its users, with zero return on time invested.
The more exchanges which add STEEM to its list of currencies will help gain the attention of serious investors.
To this end, I’m offering a challenge to Steemians of all ranks, from plankton to whales, to be a walking advertisement of this currency on some level; from the minimalist to the flamboyant.
External advertising will be the means of getting this 'hidden' gem recognized. STEEM platforms have been able to learn from other social-media sites, what its users knew long ago; sponsored advertising is a bigger drain than draw.
That said, there's a lot of internal cheerleading going on in the Steemit blogosphere. It’s welcome for the encouragement of all; but, I’m calling on each member, who really believes in this currency, to advertise on some level outside of the STEEM platforms.
I’m requesting that you put on your to-do list, to buy or diy something that makes people wonder what STEEM is, via clothing, or even something as small as a decal on your laptop, coffee mug, or gym bag. Kudos to those who have invested so boldy as to buy personalized STEEMIT license plates. Now, that's advertising that gets around, gains a lot of eyes.
Ultimately, advertising will be a great spark to promote the STEEM conversation/thought. A person may not ask you directly about this company; but, they will add it to their search engine to learn more.
Many writers tend to be introverts. Talking and promoting may not be their strong suit. But, being a moving advertisement by staying mindful to promote the logo is something that will speak for itself. Who knows if your promotion nets the attention of a WHALE looking for the next major investment?
In closing, Cuban's announcement is certainly good news; and, a huge show of support for the naysayers still on the sidelines, foolishly doubting that crypto is the future of currency.
Some are so dulled that they can’t see how banks are beginning to ‘take a look’; and, as we speak, drafts are being drawn up for irrefutable plans for taxation; which, in comparison to the potential gains, isn’t really a problem; and, more a fact of life.
Btw, here’s the link to @jrcornel’s post regarding Cuban’s announcement:
That’s it.
How do you promote the Steem logo(s)? Feel free to share your pics in the comments section.
Peace.
Hi, that's a great idea to focus but may i ask, is there a place we can download a recognised 'official' logo artwork please ?
Hi @nathen007
Key “pixabay steemit logo” in a search engine. There are several steemit logos for free use.
In the search tool, I entered "steemit free steemit images" and landed on two posts for further information.
Both are archived, though still useful.
The first is @jerrybanfield detailing various sites which offer free images:

And, the second post is a fellow Steemian offering his images for free. He asks for acknowledgment, so, read the fine print.

This is just the beginning. I’m sure that with a bit more research you will find a lot of artists freely sharing their images.
To avoid copyright infringement, be sure to use free-use sites only, i.e. pixabay. It's a favorite of the Steemit community.
Best regards.
Peace.
Thanks so much again my friend ! I was just checking before I went out and used a logo I shouldn't to create something !
Health and happiness to you :-)
Many thanks! And, you as well!!
Peace.
