В 2014 году пока еще молодая на тот момент команда Second To Sun записывает новый альбом под названием Three Fairy Tales. Вокалист в составе группы по-прежнему отсутствует, поэтому релиз, как и предыдущие, выходит инструментальным. Забегая вперед, скажу, что после того, как в Three Fairy Tales завелся-таки вокалист, значительную часть треков команда перезапишет заново, уже с голосом. Но главное, музыкантам так понравится эта концепция, когда многие композиции существуют в двух версиях - с голосом и без, что в дальнейшем группа уже намеренно продолжит выпускать альбомы параллельно в двух вариантах - в инструментальном и в обычном, "вокальном".
Но вернемся в 2014 год к релизу Three Fairy Tales. Альбом попал в российский рок-чарт ITunes, а в российском топе тяжелой музыки на Google Play он и вовсе занял первое место. Надо ли говорить, что после такого события команду заметили и в Америке, и в Европе, и даже, черт возьми, в Австралии. Возможно, и в России было то же самое? Я не имею в виду специализированные ресурсы, этим сам бог велел, ведь кроме как о тяжелой музыке им и писать-то не о чем. Но может быть, какие-то более широкие площадки удостоили Second To Sun своим вниманием? Нет. Как всегда - нет. Здесь вы не дождетесь этого еще лет пятьдесят, а может, и больше. Много ли телевизор нам рассказывает про фестивали и конференции писателей, художников, архитекторов - да кого угодно? А ведь это происходит все время, достаточно погуглить - и вы удивитесь, сколько всего происходит в культурной жизни. Но телевизор рассказывает не об этом, а о том, как хорошо мы все заживем на будущий год. Словно мы не сможем проверить, потому что он никогда не наступит...
