STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE S7W4 - IF YOU GET THE CHANCE TO VISIT THE PAST WITH A TIME MACHINE, WHICH ERA WOULD YOU LIKE TO DWELL IN AND WHY

Hello to everyone in this wonderful community today and in this platform at large. I say good evening to us all and I want to believe that we all are doing just great.

Today I welcome you all to yet an amazing steemit engagement contest that has been brought forward by the steemit team in other to improve engagement among users in this platform.

I will be dropping my entry regarding this contest today which this community team has set for us all this week to engage in and as such I beckon on you all to sit back and stay put as I drop my entry regarding this contest today.

I will be providing answers to certain questions regarding this contest topic one after the other, so join me as I begin to provide my answers.

WHICH ERA WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT AND WHY?

If I get a chance to visit the past with a time machine, I would like to visit my childhood era. As though I really missed those good old days a lot.

The reason why I would prefer to visit my childhood era is because during that era I had no stress for everything I wanted were all given to me in a platter of gold. I get to go to different places, play with my peer groups and have fun all day without worries.

The joy of chatting with your childhood friend, playing hide and seek, not having a single clue about what the country or world is saying, not being worried about the economy situation of the country and waking up everyday to meeting my 3 square meal is epic.

Those were the days that all I do was just to go to school and return back home, do the domestic works and relax. I don't have to go out in search of what to eat because my parents would have gotten what I would eat.

All these things are definitely the reasons why I would prefer to return back to my childhood era if I get a chance to visit the past with a time machine.

WITH WHOM WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL THAT ERA AND WHY?

Well I would like to travel that era with my childhood friends, and also my brother. Because at home, I only get the chance to play with my brother so well as we are best partners who always stay close to each other.

And in school I get to play with my peer groups as though we once lived in the same area. Childhood was fun with them and whenever they travel, I only get to play with my brother. So I would prefer to go along with my childhood friends, and also with my brother as that will make the whole event make sense.

IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO COMPILE ONE THING FROM THAT ERA, WHAT WOULD YOU BRING WITH YOU?

If I am opportune to compile one thing from that era, what I would like to bring along with me is not a thing but a person. I lost a closed friend during that era and his name is Henry. We eat together, play together, do things together like brothers but he was a sickle cell patient and that I never knew.

We grew up together not knowing what they call sickle cell anemia but all we know that he regularly fall ill. It was in the evening after I paid him a visit and returned home, that same day at night my mum got a call from his aunt that Henry is no more.

I burst into tears and I couldn't sleep that night. That was how I lost Henry my friend to death. So if there would be a particular thing I would bring along with me it's him. I have missed him so much and I am still missing him but then God knows best and may he rest on.

CONCLUSION

Time machine would be nice if only it can be invented so that we can have that privilege to visit those that are gone and say hello to them again and tell them how life is moving currently for I know that would be a great revolution.
