Ask the Car Guy @socky April 17
What is your car trouble?
I want to give back to Steemit community and provide some help on something that I know very well. Cars and how to fix them.
Please ask me about your car issue. Won't go into gear. Strange sounds. Don't know if you should take your car in to the shop. Just ask.
Send me the make, model, and year along with car symptoms.
Please remember to VOTE and ReSteem

My car on the morning ignition, I let it warm up just 5 minutes, just before starting turn on the air conditioning I notice that it loses speed even to turn off the car, if I turn off the air conditioning this does not happen. Just so you know my car does not have a thermostat. Do you consider them to be the injectors or the IAC sensor?
IACV will help the car idle better when an additional load is put on the motor at idle. It shouldn't affect the power. The air conditioning compressor will pull about 10-15 Hp from the motor when running. I suspect that there is something wrong with the engine, fuel system, or the computer/sensors. The engine is not performing as well as it once was. When the air conditioning compressor is engaged, the extra load is taking power from an engine that is low on power to begin with. It could be many things that is causing your engine to loose performance. The AC compressor is not the cause of the problem.
Then you suggest that you replace the fuel line filter, also the injectors.?
A fuel filter is cheap and normally needs replacement anyway. I would troubleshoot the low power issue first before changing expensive parts like injectors.
Here is an interesting video of how to diagnose fuel injector issues with an interesting way to clean them without an expensive cleaning tool.
Good post keep going ❤
