Winter is Coming!
Darker Mornings.
With Winter well on its way here, getting out of bed can be a struggle, with the mornings being darker, and the cold, one just doesn't want to get up.
Having said this, I am still part of the 6am club and work still commences on time, but the odd lie in over the weekend is a great feeling on such cold mornings.
With Winter, also the driving conditions on the school run can get a little dangerous, we live in a rural village with our sons school being a couple of miles away (mainly country lanes.) so getting up that little bit earlier, getting work out of the way and giving more time to the journeys there and back are key to avoiding the dangers of icy roads.
I do like Winter and it is part of the four seasons, I love the snow, but give me summer time any day.
