Mood Swing and some unknown facts of it.

A word used in simple language is that sometimes it's cloudy and sometimes it rains.
It means a sudden change in something. One such thing is Mood swing. We all constantly face mood swings but avoid them without realizing it. Sometimes we ignore this as normal. But what is a Mood swing? Why does this happen? Does it have any bad effects? Is it avoidable or resistible? Who does it actually belong to?

Hello, my friends!

Wishing good health to all my friends in the steemit Health Community I will talk about a Mood swing.

What is Mood Swing?

Sudden changes in the mood without any reason are called Mood swings. In simple words, sudden depression and sudden anger and suddenly upset. When these emotions change abnormally it is then considered a symptom of bipolar disorder. Youngsters are familiar with this topic(mood swings) on a daily basis.

Why do Mood swings happen?

According to medical experts, under the influence of hormones, lack of iron and mineral salts, due to malnutrition in our body Mood swing happens.
Under the hormonal influence:
Hormones are released from neurotransmitters in our brains. Serotonin and Norepinephrine are also among them. Serotonin is a hormone that regulates our emotions and Norepinephrine is associated with our memory and physical needs. Due to their variation, mood swings occur.

We all know more or less that a woman's body releases a hormone called Estrogen. When this hormone fluctuates, women face Mood Swings. Also, during periods and pregnancy, hormonal changes occur in a woman's body and this increases the tendency for mood swings. This is why it is believed that women have more mood swings than others. In some places, less educated people think that mood swing is only for women. But actually and scientifically it is totally wrong.

Lack of nutrition, irons, and mineral salts:
If our body lacks nutrients, iron, and mineral salts it may cause mood swings. When our body does not get enough nutrients, the brain does not get the energy it needs. As a result, the brain does not get the energy to function properly. I think this disorder of brain function causes our emotions to fluctuate. As a result, we can’t explain our emotions properly. Our emotions suddenly take the form of anger or suddenly sadness or suddenly cheerfulness or suddenly upset.

Especially during adolescence, emotions are very strong. During this time many types of physical and mental changes occur (These changes are mainly influenced by many hormones). As a result, the body needs a lot of nutrients and it needs to drink a lot of water. But teenagers tend to neglect their diet the most. As a result, malnutrition happens and malnutrition causes mood swings. That's why many teenagers show irritable moods during adolescence. On the other hand, there is the effect of hormones. Their physical changes on the one hand and the effects of hormones and nutritional deficiencies on the other make them irritable and often depressed. Again, during the teenage period, a lot of iron is lost which is not replenished later. As a result, they frequently have mood swings, and emotions rule over them.
Also, stress, lack of sleep, Bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, drinking alcohol, etc are the reason for mood swings.

Does it have any bad effects?

Excessive changes in moods or emotions can have a huge impact on one’s confidence. Lack of self-confidence leads to many tasks not being completed smoothly. Due to excessive mood swings, people lose the ability to think deeply about anything. According to experts, people who have mood swings are too quick to make decisions. A hasty decision is a big obstacle to reaching their destination. These poor performances make them fail and depressed.

These depressions cause many diseases in human bodies. Sometimes, people take medicines or injections for depression. These medicines and injections make negative effects on the body and health.

Another disorder related to mood swings is PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Irritability is one of the main symptoms of this disease. Having PCOS increases the risk of infertility, diabetes, and heart disease.

Is it avoidable or resistible?

Actually, mood swing is not a serious disease. It's not terrible. But it is not something to pass by. It is some abnormality of our bodies. We should remove or prevent these abnormalities. For this

1. Drink at least 2-3 liters of water daily.
2. Sleep should be at least 6 to 7 hours daily.
3. Regular exercise should be done.
4. Eat nutritious food.
5. Laziness should be avoided.

Who does it actually belong to?

Mood swings are common in both boys and girls. But at most stages of life, women face this more than men. (for malnutrition, effects of hormones, lack of iron).
Finally, I want to say we need to keep our bodies healthy. Abnormalities such as mood swings are revealed when there is a health disturbance in our body. Adequate food, sleep, exercise, and a disciplined lifestyle should be followed. Whenever there are changes and abnormalities in our eating habits and lifestyle, various diseases mainly affect our bodies.
I hope you all have understood what I have said.
Lead a healthy life and be happy.....
Goodbye...
