BitTube: An Inspiring Crypto A La' You Tube

BitTube for Music
As a music producer and performer, I'm learning by the day that the more I embrace and use Blockchain technologies and Dapps I'm learning how it is changing the way to artists from selling their music, to interacting with their fans and monetizing their work to get rewarded instantly and securely a passive cryptocurrency.
What is BitTube?
BitTube is a new decentralized media platform that allows users to monetize their content and freedom of speech, and it uses BitTube (TUBE) cryptocurrency.
Exploring the Pros:
- No censorship - Uses IPFS protocol to store data means (IPFS network) and Creators get the right to speech.
- Monetize & Earn Crypto - Monetize content and earn BitTube coin in return when viewers see your videos.
- Fair Reward System - Creators get the same rate of reward irrespective of which part of the world their video content is being viewed from, unlike YouTube ads revenue system.
- Ad-free - Finally, we can watch tube videos without these annoying ads and pop-ups.
- Unlimited Video Hosting Space
- Mine while you Watch - Viewers will get the share of mined revenue as their computing power will be used in mining the BitTube.

From your experience as a musician - how does BitTube compare to applications like DTube or Vimm? This looks like crypto is directly tied to view counts - just wondering here what the advantages or disadvantages might be from a music-making perspective.

Salute @sndbox ! The best advantage I see for Bittube over DTube is the "monetization window", as an artist when I post on DTube similar to the steemit post the earning life cycle is 7 days in were on BitTube monetization window it's endless no, limitation to earning from your work.
Kudos on spreading the word on BitTube, keep shaking those blocks! ;)
As it should be. As great as the idea behind Steemit and DTube are, it's time to admit that the 7 day window for earning is very limiting and if they don't find a way to improve on that, others will come along and create new platforms that will.
@djlethalskillz, Keep up the awesome work and thank you so much for letting us know about this platform. And yes we need more Decentralised and Tokenise Platforms so that content creators can see an Economy where their content is making what it deserve without any censorship. And in my opinion the Crypto Sphere and Blockchain Technology should grow and for that we have to see diversified platforms in this sphere so that users can hold the options to explore.

So this is a PoW protocol is I understand correctly ? I like the fact the token is traded on the free market, it give the project a more transparent feel
Reward system is for 7 days only, like steem? Or lifelong?

Very interesting system. I'm only a viewer and avoiding ads & pop-ups is a great thing, very annoying on youtube. Moreover, you can discover new artists and reward them. Just perfect
