SteemIt Lane Review!

With the creation of my account 2 months ago I started as Steem was on a rise back in November, shortly after I arrived Steem went down as low as $0.10 and back up to around $0.20 or maybe just a bit over. Well, inside my first month I went from 50 SteemPower up to just over 500. This month I did a few less posts and most have been 50/50 posts not 100% power up. I did that because I was wanting to have extra Steem and SBD in order to start working on setting up different kinds of contests.

I did a contest, had lots of fun, but I have noticed that it was probably the wrong timing for the contest as December seems a slow month here on SteemIt.

Being new to the world of blogging I really had no idea of what I was getting involved in. I set out on a journey to learn. So far things I have learned are

About the same time I started here I also set up a computer to share storage space on the Storj network.

I moved up to a reputation of 61, I started using the badges as you will see at the end of my posts.

On 11/15/2016 I received 197 votes on a post, so far that has been the most votes on any post. On 11/10/2016 I made Author: $19.67 SBD most made on a single post so far.

Inside the last month on change that has been big is the inclusion of NSFW tag, as well as a filter. One improvement to the filter I would make is to add the name of the post author, as some like @klye or @timcliff have used the tag but their content is not bad.

Conclusion

This has been a rather productive 2 months, and I have been having lots of fun both creating new content and reading others posts. Looking forward to the New Year and all the new people I will meet this year.
