I practice so that it is dangerous to the one that I have decided need to be the object of defensive danger. I have pulled it one (he never knew) to get it ready to stop a fool; but fortunately he changed his mind and lived. I have a semi-automatic small enough that I can palm it to the ready position!
I have carried it 15 years, and never needed it. I pray I never do. BUT, If I need it, I intend to Have it with me!
It would be tough to combine the two, Kinetic goes one direction, energy an entirely different. They are very unlike!
You would think that a troopers armor would be made to resist the weapon used by their enemy as their primary weapon!

Yes, I think that the Empire would have done a lot better if they had simply decided to use armor that could stop blasters. Or they could have just sent the troopers out without armor (like many of the Rebels) and they would have died just as quickly, but the Empire could have spent that money on other weapons and things to defeat the Rebels. I'm just saying...
White absorbs a lot, at least make it a mirror polish, that would be something, polished Titanium would be tough, light, and very reflective! Or like you said, do away with it, and use that money somewhere else.
I am thankful that I have never had to shoot my Concealed Carry, and I pray I never do! If I am forced, I will keep practicing to be as effective as possible.
:)I think it's really strange that with as technologically-advanced as the Empire is, they don't use many drones. People are expensive because you have to keep paying them salaries, benefits, and feeding them. That all adds up. Plus, you have to have more managers to manage them. And you have to deal with conscription and layoffs. It's just a lot of hassle for an organization as big as the Empire.
They have the scout drones and such, but they really should be using more like IG-88. He's made for killing in 10,000 different ways.

In China, they use people to pollinate fruit trees, because they poisoned all the bees. Life (AKA Slaves) are Very cheap in China, and bees cost money.
Drones cost money too....
:DThat's disturbing. I've been to places in the world where it was cheaper to have a dozen people dig a trench than to hire a backhoe to dig it because the machine cost a lot more than $2 per day.
It seems like someone would realize that bees could be a lucrative business and start breeding them to rent out as pollinators. Or maybe the bees just die and that's why no one does it.
People are cheap, and bees do Not do well with the level of pollution over there.
:'(It's just sad. People should be able to get a wage that allows them to live. And bees should be able to just fly around and find plants to pollinate. I think it should be an automatic sign that you're doing something wrong when the bees die off because there's too much pollution.
We are getting bad over here too. WE are killing off our bees here too. And yes they are the worst polluters in the World!
The government decides who lives, and who does Not. They want the same option here....
