ACHIEVEMENT 2 @smartzee TASK: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

INTRODUCTION
Part of my basic introduction to steemit. My achievement 2 task is based on the basic security on steemit

QUESTION 1:Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?
ANSWER: Yes I have, I was provided with the master password during my sign up process which I used to download a pdf file that contains all other keys.

1. Tron account key:

• Tron private key

1. Steemit account key

• Private posting key
• Private active key
• Private memo key
• Private owner key

QUESTION 2 : Do you know each use of this key functions and restriction
Answer : i know the use and restrictions of each keys

TRON KEY : The tron key is used to login to my tron account and also enables me to secure my tron account and also used to perform other actions like
.freeze and unfreeze of TRX.
.Transfer of tokens

PRIVATE POSTING KEY: The private posting key is used to perform social action, and login to other steem powered networks like keychain and steemworld.org

ACTIVE KEY: The active key grants permission to perform monetary actions on the blockchain like
.power up.
.transfer of funds

OWNER KEY: The owner key is a very important key as it is mainly used for account recovery and also to change other keys.

MEMO KEY: The memo key is used for decryption received messages on blockchain.

PUBLIC KEY: The public key is used for encryption and verification of messages on the block chain.

MASTER PASSWORD: The master password is used to download the pdf file containing every other key on steemit.

QUESTION 3: How do you plan to keep your master password
I printed it out on a page and stored it with my birth certificate and other important documents

QUESTION 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to another user
Answer: Yes I do.
The steps involved are;

1 - I Logged into my steem wallet, clicked on the drop down menu close to the steem/steem dollar I have and select transfer

2- I type in the receiver account name, amount and click on the next button

3- the next page shows where to Input my active key and click on okay

QUESTION 5: Do you know how to power up
Answer: yes I do
the steps involved are
1- Login wallet, select steem and click on power up on the drop down menu

2- Input the amount you wish and click on power up

3- fill in your active key and then click on okay

Having completed achievement 2 i am now prepare to write my achievement 3. Thank you.
