Deepavali free bazaar The cost of Kindness
The look on my face says it all.. The scene was somewhat reminiscent of a black Friday shopping storm in the states.. I've never been to one of those consumerism exploits but I've seen the videos.
Everyone was clearly excited to get their hands on free stuff so I'm not going to judge people for jostling and going all in on a free for all. We had plenty of donations and I'm positive everyone went home with a few things they'll be proud to call their own.
I always just stick to interactions with the kids so I passed out snacks. I suppose some of these folks had never been so up close and personal with a honkey which is why I became a photo opportunity.. I was extremely tired having been up til 3am after a reggae gig in the city and waking at 7am but the smiles really did keep me going. If I'm being honest when the alarm went off I was wondering why I commit myself to these events so often but I figure I spend 99.7% of existence self absorbed and whenever I can do anything to ease others lives or give them some hope for humanity I better seize the opportunity..
I've been really struggling to keep my interest here with the steem lately so I apologize to the few people I've yet to reply to their comments. I don't know what the deal is exactly, I just know when I see a post about steem I cringe and don't give a shit about the development or maintenance of this place. I think I've essentially refrained from talking about steem or making a shit post since the HF and I'm no longer placing on the engagement league. I think it's just inevitable that after a year of being here the honeymoon phase is well over lol.. BTW yep I've been a steemian for a year so whoopdeedoo. Not being active here means I'm out peopling and doing what humans do, I really think some people here that are capable should give that a try.. But whatever if y'all enjoy talking about SMts and shit have at it..

Peopling used to be what everyone did but now it seems to be relegated to mostly when the power is down or your favorite site is offline. Most can't even people in a whole room chock full of people because they are nose deep in their cell shackles. Governments don't mind as it makes for less resistant targets.
Good on you for peopling though that crowd is alarming to me. Guess my peopling happens on a smaller scale lol
All true! The insight gained from seeing how much more we all have in common is a dangerous premise for the powers that be..

Yeah mate, nothing truly noteworthy or new that is really worth has happened or you've missed around these parts of the digital realms.

The move worked out pretty well! I'm still not settled! However, Cologne is awesome! I really like the people here! I'm going to make a post about it whenever I have a little more free time! Things are still a little bit messy and I still don't have a typical day to day life hehe
Messy is ok at times, typical day to day life blows haha! Stay away from that as long as possible! Cologne is a bit bohemian I'm guessing ?

Cologne feels indeed a little bohemian. A lot of alternative people are around which I like no doubt :)
I think a lot of our subclass are taking a step back right now. There's so much I want to rant but I can't even be arsed ranting at the moment. No doubt someone will trigger me and I'll go off on one , sooner or later !
