Here's a few fungi pics from this past year I haven't posted yet for this #fungifriday by @ewkaw

Here's a few clumps of chocolate tube slime mold I found while camping in Wisconsin. It would be awesome to try and get timelapse footage of this stuff growing.

Here's a closeup. This really resembles some thick kind of fur. Too bad it doesn't taste like chocolate and isn't edible.

Here's a clump of white russula mushrooms emerging from the earth. I found these near a lake by my house.

Here's a big old milk cap of some kind. If you cut the gills they bleed a milky substance, hence their name milk cap. Many in this family are edible.

Here's a picipes badius, a very strange crinkly but smooth mushroom without gills.

They are very thin and grow in a funnel shape. Eventually as they get older the outer edge wrinkles. As you can see they have pores not gills.

Here's the top. Not much is known about these guys. It took me forever to id this.

Here's a nice batch of pholiota squarrosa, i've read these are poisonous but others have said they are edible. Thus i have not attempted to eat them.

Here's a big dried out milk cap. The bigs have done a good job hollowing out the stem. Too bad i couldn't find this earlier to test its edibility.

Finally just a batch of summer oyster mushrooms. These always make a good meal. Happy #fungifriday
