Batavia Orchid Show: Part 1
I like to visit the Batavia Orchid Society show each year. Below are some of the orchids that were on display and one that i brought home for my girlfriend.
This is the one i ended up buying, it has really fragrant smell similar to a rose.

Spectacular! I enjoy trying to find the insect faces that many orchids have
Some of those orchid farmers make serious money on the rare ones. Some of them have surprising smells like the chocolate and vanilla ones. I even found one that smelled like grape jolly rancher candy.

The Cattleya (that's my guess) you got is absolutely beautiful!
I like to get the ones with a good fragrance. Though i might get one of the pitcher ones eventually.

I heard most Cattleya smell nice.
I have Oncidium Sharry Baby and it is absolutely amazing!! Like vanilla cookies :)
Definitely want to get a vanilla one.
