A trip to an orchid greenhouse. Mydailycolor
This weekend I went to Orchids by Hausermann a 5 acre greenhouse dedicated exclusively to orchids. It was like my girlfriend was in heaven and she got two dwarf archids, a wall hanging one and a large aromatic one that smells like vanilla.
(my girlfriend is super stoked about these white orchids)

(these had a really bold pattern)
(these were really large and the buds were striped like a tiger)
(these one were very tiny but extra bright)
(another boldly patterned orchid)

Free to get in, and the orchids are cheaper than buying from a store. Though the really fancy ones can be expensive. I saw a 500 dollar one that wasnt even blooming. Most are in the 15 to 30 $ range.

Holy heaven! This looks like orchid paradise! I've never seen an orchid greenhouse before nor so many orchids in one place! Amazing how beautiful they are. I guess I'd have bought one or two, the yellow and the orange one most likely. @ewkaw, you see this? 😀

Really beautiful! I have some potted ones from a local hardware store. 4 different colors. They aren't blooming right now but here's a photo of one of them from last year.
This one is my favorite!
I think i saw some of those in the greenhouse. There must have been a 1000 different kinds.
