Have you tried making something out of Talash?

I especially liked these vases and candy bowls.

When moistened, Talash is pliable, binds well, weaves into pigtails and is kept unchanged for a long time.

In addition, the leaves are quite easily sewn with thread and they can be combined with straw or jute.

Even mats are made from corn leaves.

It is nice that right at the fairs anyone can try to make something himself.

Of course, few people will immediately get such bags, but something simpler is for sure.

Craftswomen often combine Talash with other natural materials: straw, sweet herbs, jute, willow twigs... Fancy craftsmen do not take: -)
