SteemQuest : The Church (part 2)
Welcome to SteemQuest a RPG board game
[New Players]
SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)

Our story:
E.T., Thunk, Omar & Quaid rush at the new horror in front of them.
Happyme drops 2 fireballs on the monster.
As the fireballs go out you see they did no damage it was as if they were absorbed into the swirling black mist that makes up the body of the creature.
The monster roars up and sends forth a burst of energy down into the ground. As the ground shakes beneath your feet, it retreats backwards into the church.
You hear a voice in your head “next time”
As you ponder this you see the dead knight start to stand up and see all the gravestones start to shake,
Here is the skeleton
They have long swords that do 1 ❤️ Damage. Sorry I forgot it on the card.
[New Rule]
Mana restore - calling on the magic of the world from any nearby ley lines, an adventurer can spend 4 actions to recover 2D6 -2 mana as long as they are not interrupted.

Yes 3 arrows kill it.
Here is s break down.
1st arrow (1/2 ❤️) is absorbed by the leather armor
2nd arrow - 1/2 ❤️ Damage it has 1/2 ❤️ left
3rd arrow - 1/2 ❤️ Damage it is dead
You can have the 4th arrow hit a different skeleton if you want

5 means it lands short 1 space, but still fries the un-dead. The 2 closest to me are now toast. My card says 1 mana, but the rules say 2, so I'll take 1 more shot to cover my butt in case it is allowed. I aim for the un-dead that makes the point of a triangle if the 2 dead ones form the base of the triangle. @rolld20
I will allow 1 mana for right now. I am trying to balance the mana / damage of the fireball.

Hey, do you guys want to laugh, like REALLY laugh? I'm using steemkr.com because it's the only goddamn interface that works here!!!!!
Anyways. Back to topic, I couldn't participate in part 1, but basically I would have spent my actions to heal the bleeding knights before they bleed to death. Now the thing is that there is no range for heal, do I need melee range? Quick answer to move or roll the dice would be appreciated.
What do you feel with a low level heal that is melee (lay of hands)
And one that costs more mana & actions that is a 3x3 area ranged heal ?
3x3 ranged heal is OP and useless ATM since no enemies can do such amount of damage and/ or AOE effects. I'm fine with using a low level heal since I can heal myself, but it's usually unpractical, range 2 at least is a little more practical, though with the DPS we have and the low health of these early enemies it's not really necessary.
As a priest/support character I usually like skills that boost absorption, attack or plain damage (I'm picking freeze surface as my next skill for support and defensive purposes), right now there is no enemy that needs such an approach, but boosting the absorption of a tank during a tough battle could be decisive IMHO. Another modification you MIGHT want to check is to make a faceoff between attack and dodge, where higher attack grants increases in 5%, the same as now, everyone would have 10 attack and 10 dodge base, but you could adjust dodge to certain enemies and adjust attack hit depending on distance or other factors.
I added a bless that boosts allies to hit a few days back.

Arrrgh! I don't know any of your human ways!! In the Dwarven stronghold, we go up for ale and meat and down to mine more Iron and Gold. All this east this and west that, and south-south-east is just a construct you humans invented to give the rest of us headaches.
