Steem Diary Entry 25 Season 2 - 25/8/2020
Dear Steemit Diary this is entry #25 for the Steemit Diary game Season 2, my alarm is set for 7.00 AM as I find this time to be working well for my schedule, today I got up for 8.06 AM better as I'm recovering nearly those 20 mins I lost from yesterday.

It sure is weird how the body works yesterday I was slightly annoyed I got up 20 mins later than the previous day and it seems today I got up 20 mins earlier to make up for it haha.
When I got up I came to the realisation that today is the 25th which if I remember correctly today marks the first half of the Steemit Diary Season 2 term before we go into a very welcome break which will hopefully allow the Steemit Team to catch up with all our posts.
And with that in mind I continued my day by firstly logging into Steemit to beginning with my daily online tasks, since today I'm off due to some much welcomed holidays and with no plans to go out, I had time to complete almost all tasks as I only left one out when it came to doing extras.

I then went down for breakfast, today I was surprised to see my cat Mindy in the hallway as she normally spends her time now mostly under the stairway, while I'm always happy to see her come out from under there it's not the most convenient of places for her to rest.
Still I show her that it's appreciated she as came out and I headed to have breakfast, this morning I had slices of toast with butter and apricot marmalade.
After breakfast I could see my other cat TinkerBell wanted to out so before heading back up I let her outside, I also drank lots of water as I still had this dry throat feeling from yesterday.
And actually when I went back upstairs it was this that made me take it apon myself to check out what they predict winter is going to be like over here with this whole covid crisis going on.

I mean I got this slight dry throat feeling just because I left a far away window open for one night when it was abit cooler but I know others will panic and think they caught covid.
I checked the prediction for winter and it continues to look very bleak, there was even strangely news about it when I checked today, they basically say they think we are going to see empty super markets again, big food shortages, and so people fighting for food and supplies and the government is getting ready to put military on the streets.
I sure hope none of this happens here as I will surely regret not leaving the country sooner.

My mother than called and we went to do some shopping as I definitely needed some more rice, it wasn't too busy out at the time but I think we missed today's busiest time as we left.
When I got home I done a few more chores and also between that time it started to rain fast and heavy my poor cat TinkerBell was still outside so i rushed to get her indoor.
I rested for a while and then started on making dinner, for tonight we had sweet and sour chicken with rice.

After dinner I watched an episode of Inspector Frost once it finished I went up to write the Steemit Diary Game post for I guess the last time for this first half of season 2, if I have remember the date correctly, after I wrote up the post and shut the windows I went to sleep.
And So That Concludes My Diary Entry For Today.
