There something magical in a newborn
There's something magical in a newborn, isn't it? Just watching him/her you can feel many sensations inside you, awesome sensations. That baby girl, that baby boy can touch your heart and your soul simply with her/his presence. I don't talk about the parenthood, I'm talking about myself when I see a newborn that's not my daughter or son ^_^
I was a very young mom (I was 17 years old), but every time I see a baby I remember everything about the first time I saw my baby. Noemi was a very small newborn, just 1,6 kg (3,52 pounds) even if she was born in time. She looked like a beautiful little doll, full of wrinkles (the adorable wrinkles that every newborn has) and with a rounded head full of little , soft hair. Tenderness! Pure tenderness and pure love!
Starting from that moment, everything around me was different. My baby girl changed all my points of view and gave me some different perspective about my life.
Every time I see a newborn, all that sensations come to me again and again, like waves. Tenderness, pure tenderness!
That tiny mouth, the tiny hands, the adorable wrinkles and the sound of the breath. All inspiring just tenderness and love! It's really magical!
Every parent knows that there are also something like nights when the newborn will not sleep, moments of anxiety whe she/he will have a little health problem, stinky diapers and moments of tiredness, but all disappear watching that baby girl/baby boy.
How many nice thoughts when we watch a newborn, a new life came to give us so sweet sensations!

Absolutely! I was there to see my daughters born... the first time I bent over to kiss my wife on the forehead and she got me in a headlock so I missed it (But I did get to cut the cord). When Irina (my 2nd) was born I made sure to stay back. The doctor kept telling me "Get closer, it's ok."
"You get closer I told him... I learned my lesson the last time!" It was incredible!!! It never fails to amaze me, my wife was tiny (about 85 lbs) and she recovered faster than I did! Both girls were 6 lbs 8oz.! I wish they could stay little forever!!!

If you can smile laying next to that guy...! She was such an easy baby- she never fussed or cried. She was just happy all the time. Her sister was too but really shy. Whenever somebody came to visit she would hide behind me!
You made me cry. My daughter was also born smaller than she should be at her "age", 2200 g and 45 cm. And you are right - those sweet memories. I wish I could repeat it.
Yes, so sweet memories! I remember my daughter in the nursery at the hospital, she (1600 gr) was in a crib close to 5000 gr baby boy! It was a very strange view: the giant and the gnome :D I had a congenital uterine problem, so she was born so small, but fortunately Noemi (my daughter) was very hungry and so she regained the right weight in some months ^_^
The mother can forget everything in her life,only the birth of her children's impossible to forget it, , its unforgettable moments, you get difficult feelings sometimes you cry and when you look at his/ her eyes you start laughing . Me also I like the newborn babies, you find me i carry him and i start give him/ her so much kisses like crazy hahaha.

Drawing newborns is SOOOOO hard!:) Absolutely round shapes everywhere, I failed every time I tried:)
It's true, round shapes everyhere and the proportions between head and body are very different from an adult. In the past I sketched many many newborn before to see a decent sketch ;)
