The beauty of the city of Lucca (Italy)
Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went to the Comicon in Lucca, a city close the city where we live (just 30-40 minutes by car) and so, after I took a lot of pics of cosplayers there (you can see those pics here), I also took some photos of the beautiful along the beautiful alleys of the city.
I love especially the following and first pic, because there were some big soap bubbles flying in the sky and so everything looks magical:
The city (that is in Tuscany, in center Italy) was founded by the Etruscan, but in the 180 BC it became a Roman colony. There is a square called Amphitheater's Square where you can see some traces of the ancient roman amphitheather.
Lucca is best known for the beautiful Renaissance-era city walls, where people can walk in quiet doing a sort of jump in the past:

Oh, Lucca... On my last visit to Italy, I was choosing between Siena and Lucca, and went to Siena. And it means next time it will be Lucca :) Oh, I miss Italy so much ... <3 <3 <3
Siena is always a good choice, but also Lucca is a very interesting city and in this time of the year the ancielnt walls are wonderful. ^_^

I too love the first one with the bubbles. It IS magical.
I also like the arched brickwork on the basement windows on the second one with the fancy grates. Such great personality.
