A Classic, Rare and Vintage Birthday Bar🤡
I almost forgot to show this bar to you and @vgholdingsllc!
Of course, many of us don't show each and every piece we have.
But I needed to feature this bar specifically as a shoutout to @stokjockey to whom I am most grateful for always keeping me in mind during his LCS visits and look for silver pieces that I may like. This is yet another one of his finds. Thank you, @stokjockey!
A Rare 1976 Clown & Balloons Happy Birthday Bar
1 ozt .999 fine silver by the United States Silver Corporation
U.S. Silver Corp. owns the Galena mine complex located in the heart of the Coeur D’Alene mining district one of the preeminent silver, lead and zinc producing areas in the world. This mine complex is the second most prolific silver mine in US history with over 200 million ounces of silver produced to date. Since 1953 this mine has produced 210 million ounces of silver, 159 million pounds of copper and 22 million pounds of lead from 9.9 million tons of combined silver-copper and silver-lead ore at average grades 21.26 ounces of silver, 0.80% copper and, 8.8% lead per ton of ore.
There are three basic ways that silver bars are made.
Silver bars are struck, extruded or poured.
The vintage bullion bar featured above was fabricated via striking, just like most of the 1 oz silver bars in the market.
These bars will almost always have very crisp and sharp details and a shiny, mirror-like finish.
Even as they are obviously machine-made, and their charm and beauty comes from the design on the face of the bar and the beautiful toning (sometimes heavy or mellow) that naturally occurs on the surface of the silver bar through the years.

Yay... can’t wait to see it! And I have the Leo bar, I think it was made by National too! I know @vgholdingsllc... and I will really be very unhappy if @stokjockey stops looking for bars for me😔😦😏.

When I was kid, we’d have a clown as entertainment for my birthday parties, and it was always a clown who could make all sorts of animal shaped balloons, and pony rides too. Nowadays, when I get invited to children’s parties, they have Disney characters as the Disney Princesses. And I don’t think that clowns are creepy at all. That is a cool piece I do agree with one of the comments that the clown is a bit freaky but still a cool piece with its age

I don’t find clowns creepy myself my wife does though lol creep may have been the wrong word the clown face is different in a way unusual not so much scary
And don’t be nervous about Wednesday Walk there are no Rules and only guidelines because some asked for them but in all honesty anything goes just have fun
