I wanted to post a couple more detailed photos of the David C Davis 1oz silver slug. The detail is just outstanding! This commemorative slug signifies the end of the redemption of US silver certificates.

You will notice the serial number stamped on the edge. The numbers look to be individually hand stamped.

Two new David C. Davis 1oz silver slugs arrived in the mail today. I collect everything David C Davis. They were based out of San Francisco, California. Operating in the late 1950s and early 1960s. This slug comes equipt with a signed COA with serial number, plastic booklet, and a historical pamphlet. A total package collectable in my eyes. Serial #1000 is on display at the famous numismatic museum!
