IPM - International Precious Metals
I promised a follow up article exclusively on IPM silver ingots. IPM ingots have exploded over the past couple years. The unique "futuristic" hallmark is neat. These ingots are commonly seen with a side stamped serial number. There are some examples that have Hercaimy stamped on the other side as well. The side stamp serial no. and counterstamp is a popular charactoristic amongst collectors.
International Precious Metals "IPM" another Las Vegas Nevada bullion organization of the 40+ years gone by "silver craze". From the late 60s thru 1972 International Precious Metals contracted with Hercaimy Enterprises of Walla Walla Washington for the casting of their hallmark silver ingots. Hercaimy Enterprises/Foster, with their claim of fame for their production of the "Silver Eagles Nest" even with the name change to Lewis and Clark Mint in 1972, could not survive the harsh realities of the early silver business.
You can now start to understand the relationship between Foster, Hercaimy, and IPM. All of which were very popular in the early 1970s. As well as highly collectible TODAY! Awesome bar, what about the dude holding it is he silver that's probably my favorite part and I might deisgn or try to find a neat coin holder and print it and maybe cast it in the future still learning
