FOOD CONTEST: Unripe Plantain and Red Oil sauce
INTRODUCTION
Good Afternoon everyone, it your favorite foodie silver hope you all are doing just fine. Today I will be teaching us how to prepare our local meal, unripe plantain with red oil onion sauce usually served as dinner in my country.
First, You peel off your unripe plantain,chopped into small sizes washed thoroughly into your preferred pot. Cook until you confirm your plantain is soft.
Unripe plantains are very rich in calcium, vitamin C, vitamin B-6, phosphorus, and magnesium. All these help the unborn child by ensuring proper growth and development of the baby while inside the stomach.
while your plantain is on fire you can proceed in preparing your red oil onion sauce which consists of Oil, crayfish, Onions, Pepper, maggie and salt.
For the sauce firstly, your chop your onions into a small pot, the onions might be harsh to your eyes endeavor to keep your face away tho, blend your crayfish and pepper in a blender.
All your blended ingredients should be poured in the same pot as the onions then your proceed to adding pepper, maggie, salt and lastly your red oil i.e palm oil.
The final part is optional. You can place your pot of red oil sauce on the fire to make it hot but it can still be served cold as for me I prefer it cold because the plantain will be hot as well.
