Street Cats By @shuly

Greetings from @shuly to all of you. I hope you're all doing well and having a great time. Today I am writing about Street Cats.

Street cats are common around the world. While some might view them as an inconvenience or a problem, others feel compassion for these abandoned creatures. I feel responsible for caring for those on my doorstep: One is black and the other is white and brown in colour.

Street cat feeding can be rewarding but requires patience and tender loving care. Unfortunately, these animals aren't domesticated, so they're not used to being around people. Through persistence and patience, I was able to gain their trust.
The black cat is more outgoing and will often approach me when I am setting out food. On the other hand, the white and brown cats tend to be more reserved, waiting until after I leave before approaching me - I affectionately named Snowy for her shy nature.
Snowy is smaller than her black cat counterpart, and her fur combines brown and white. Although she keeps her distance, her bright green eyes seem to be looking directly at me; I can only imagine what trauma has brought about this fear within her.

Snowy has been making progress with me despite her shy nature. She waits patiently every day now but seems closer than ever when food is involved. Sometimes I even get to pet her occasionally now!
Street cats need to be fed. This is more than a nice gesture; it's essential for their health and our community. Street cats can spread disease and become aggressive when threatened; providing food will keep them healthy and help reduce the likelihood of causing issues in our neighbourhood.

Caring for street cats can be a rewarding but challenging endeavour. While building their trust takes patience and time, seeing them thrive is worth all the effort. I hope Snowy feels loved and fed by me, hoping she will trust me enough to allow me to pet her more frequently. Hopefully, with enough attention, she may become less shy and enjoy spending time with humans more. https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@shuly/achievement-1-my-first-post-is-about-me-shuly.

I was very surprised to see the article about street cats. We always see street cats here and there. No one cares about them or even thinks about them. But this article changed my mind. Nobody thought about it. Thanks to the author.

@rezaulfdm,
