Just a Second [#cryptoart]
Dear friends and followers,
before I discovered dada.nyc, I only very occasionally did digital drawings. Although I bought a Wacom graphics tablet some time ago, I prefered to draw in an analog way.
DADA is a social network where people speak to each other through drawings that you can collect on the Ethereum blockchain.
But after my first steps on this collaborative art platform, I was simply blown away by this nonverbal form of communication.
So below you can see my second ever drawing, I did at dada and some of my "replies" to the same work after other artists had joined the conversation.
Just a Second
The first two drawings were done on my trackpad...
... but after a while I started to use my Wacom.
Check out the whole conversation!
The only thing, that I'm sorry about is, that I'm not able to share the whole visual conversation at Steemit. On the one hand, the embedding code doesn't work on Steemit yet and on the other hand, I do not own the rights to share the parts of the other users.
You should definitely follow this link to see the whole thing.
To give you an idea, I just show you this image of a user called "Serste", who already posted it on twitter. It's the reply to my latest addition of this conversation.
"Opposite of Black Mirror"
On a sidenote, after my last post about dada.nyc, some other Steemians joined the platform and that let the dada admins even start a visual convo about welcoming Steemit users.
Here is the tweet about it:
And here is my reply to this thread:
One of the co-founders of dada, Judy Mam, is even at Steemit. You can follow her under her handle @grandenchilada.
Let's get connected
It's really something very special for me to communicate with other artists in a visual way and I'm very happy to be part of both worlds.
So hopefully the users of these two platforms will engage and support eachother in the future.
Feel free to join the fun!
Although there were some complains about the navigation of the website and about some problems using grapic tablets, it's well worth to check out!

Yeah! There's my mosquito!!!
:D
Yay, so good :-) Definitely one of my favorite collaboration pieces at dada so far.
Hopefully it's ok, that I shared it here.
I'm glad you did!
I'll share something about Dada pretty soon, including this one: I really enjoyed taking part in it.
Cool, me too! Looking forward to your post.
I am really loving dada as well, even though I am a digital artist and work digitially every day. It is almost a bit 'analog' for me as the the tools on dada are so rudimentary that it feels like I'm just 'sketching in my journal'. I am going to go 'art comment' on your post you mention here. I'll probably do so tomorrow, as I am at the end of a long day right now.
Yay dada.nyc!
Yeah! It‘s kind of challenging at first when you see all the great works, but when you realize, that it’s more about communication, than showing skills, it‘s even more fun to have less tools ;-) Happy to connect!
I'm enjoying doodling on DADA with you @shortcut, so much fun!
Yay! I very much enjoy doodling with you, too :-)
I visited the link that you left of the whole conversation, I did not think you could do something like this, this is beautiful, a digital art mural with many great artists :)
Thanks, glad you checked it out! It pretty much amazes me, too :-)
