SEC17 WK:#4: the effects of economic hardships on families
Economic hardship is very common in lower middle class families and societies here. My personal experience is worse on this matter because I've compromised and sacrificed a lot during my family was going through economic hardship for long time.
When a father is only a earning person and become jobless then a family of five members knows the sufferings. My father was a service holder and my mother was a housewife. We all three siblings are nip in bud because for financial crisis affect on our study and career life in future. We small kids were not ready for the struggle.
My elder sister did her graduation and post graduation from a national university and she did job and study both and she took the stress more as the elder. Me and my brother also studied from national university because education was affordable here for lower middle class.
My struggle was started immediately after completing school. My father become jobless and he was in debt. He left job and his responsibilities too. My parents often fight and my mom was helpless as she was not enough educated to try for a job or something that could help us. My mom died at her early age because she couldn't see the sufferings of her children at their early age.
The economic hardship not only affect on our education but also affect the relationship we had with parents. My parents often fight and that affect on our mind. Our father has no regret on being unemployed, spoiling life of children, depending on daughter's income after the death of his wife (our mother).
We sisters still bearing his expenses even we were nip in bud and start struggling when other parents finance for their children's higher study and career. Our yonger (only son of our father) left father and declare that his father is dead. Economic hardship can snatched away respect, love, mental peace, peace in the family and everything that does matter.
Children doesn't choose their parents and no children deserve a insecured life even when their parents are alive. If children become irresponsible to parents they are bad children for society but when parents are failed to perform their duties no one blame them.
Economic hardship can be responsible for a broken family. It can help us knowing the real face of family members and relatives. When we had financial crisis I saw the real face of some relatives and that face will remain unforgettable to me till the rest of my life.
Our bad days help us to know the real and fake people in our life, if we know the real face of such fake people but can't leave them then it will be the worst experience ever in life. It cause damage of our mental, physical health even can cause death. Some people can't even bear it as my mom died at her early age after suffering a lot and saw real faces around her.

It's a pity about the passing away of your mother. Truly you have experienced family hardship judging from what you went through in your home as a child. It's not an easy one for a child to experience all that because it affects them emotionally and mentally. I pray you and your siblings heal completely from the experience
Thank you so much for praying to Almighty for me and for my siblings. It was worst experience and the sufferings not yet end!
The good thing about situations like this, is that, time would come when all this become history and becomes motivation to others. Keep being strong.

@shohana1, you have written well on the topic the effect of economic hardships on families. Your story with regards to economic hardships shows that you started facing the challenge at a very tender age. I'm sorry to hear about your mum's death due to this very hardships.

Financial crises like this do bring relationship issues. But regardless, family members need to stick together and develop plans to survive.

I have read your post and after reading the post I realized how narrow people's lives are becoming and how forced people have become. I and your sister have also done jobs along with graduation. I was happy and sad because of how negative she is and how hard she has worked to run the house. They are working so much and at the same time they have to do jobs along with their studies which will have a bad effect on their studies, so I hope that your home conditions etc. will be fine.
The struggle is not yet end. Having responsible parents are the best blessing, if you have then you are lucky, if you haven’t then life will be full of sufferings! May no one experience such sufferings! Thanks for reading!
