Good Morning Devotion :-) ❤️

Good morning my sweet and grateful steemians, uloggers and prayer warriors! Today, I'm blessed to share with you one of my friend's devotion she shared to me and I shared it in other platform. "Today's devotion is another and again, a confirmation for me to be firm and to stand by my conviction and faith no matter what. I praise and thank God for my good friend because she makes sure that I am also spiritually blessed through her devotion and once again I'm sharing it here too, for the purpose of encouragement and giving hope to everyone who will spend some time in reading it."

"Every offense and injustice you suffer will test you. It will force you—as it forced Paul—to choose what to “preach” about. Will you see your humiliation only as a problem, barrier, or roadblock to your happiness? Or will you see it as an opportunity, given to you by God, to demonstrate his power and love in your life? Rather than complain at every hint of brokenness in this world, why not try to fix it? Look for ways to turn your painful experiences into an opportunity to serve God and share him with others."

"These lines have summed this devotion so well and it speaks right through me. My heart was pierced because there were really tough and rough times, yep so hard for me to respond the way godly people respond to such difficult circumstances, just like Paul. Those times, were the times that I should've let God move in His mysterious ways to bring others closer to Him. Those were the times, that I should've pointed more people to God. Those were the times, that I should've gone out of my comfort zone to let others see God moving and working in my life. But I wasn't able to see those golden opportunities back then. Instead I retaliated and I responded humanly. I have let my humanness to overpower my faith in God. I have put my guards down, so down that I was swayed in taking revenge on my own and not letting God do His mighty works in me. I should've done the other way around, God's way that is. But I didn't. I was blinded by my hurt feelings and so I learned the hard way. So painful and so hard that it cuts deeper and my heart was pierced by it, knowing full well that I was not the only one affected. There were innocent people who were also dragged into that pit and suffered too. They were not supposed to be hurt and should not be the one greatly affected by it but I was too blind by my emotions back then. I wasn't in my right mind when I decided to fight back. I have forgotten that my God is just always by my side and always ready to give a hand, to fight and win for my every battle."

"Looking back, I praise and thank God because I was able to get up. God is able and He is a merciful and gracious God. I praise and thank God because He picked me up and He let my feet stood on solid ground. Yes, there were people who suffered needlessly but because of God's grace I was able to ask for their forgiveness and yes, ask God also to forgive me. I was bold and courageous enough to ask for their forgiveness and now, I am at peace knowing full well that I have done my part. It is now in God's hands. I already lifted these burdens to Him and He will be the one to handle these things that I can't handle on my own. All as in every delays, interruptions, good or bad experience, pleasant and unpleasant circumstances, I now see to it that these are all God's divine intervention for me to show God is at work and that God will use me to point others to His Son Jesus Christ."

So the next time you're stuck in a traffic jam, piled up with so many paper works, your stove's not working, some kids having untimely and uncontrollable tantrums, friends yelling, debts to pay, insufficient funds, etc. etc. you name them and you have them. Well, it is really frustrating and provoking to be in such inconvenient situations, but let us see it as God's divine interventions for us to be used by Him to bless others and to bring glory to His Name. :-) <3
