Boundless Mercy

All honor to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by His boundless mercy that God has given us the privilege of being born again. Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose again from the dead. For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for His children. 1Peter 1:3-4

These verses in 1Peter are a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the marvelous gift of new birth we believers have because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Not only do we have our new lives on earth to be grateful for, but we are born again to a living, eternal hope. God's nature transforms our natures on the earth gives us purpose, meaning and hope not only for this life but for the one to come. We have a "wonderful expectation" of our future in heaven and a priceless inheritance because we are His children and heirs. This inheritance isn't like those we receive on earth. God watches over it, and it is "beyond the reach of change or decay." Take time to meditate on the Lord's boundless mercy and the priceless inheritance He has reserved for you, all because Christ rose from the dead. Ask Him to increase your expectation that the best is yet to come.

FATHER, I bless You and praise You for the hope, expectation, and inheritance You have provided by resurrection of Your Son, our Savior. I praise You for the boundless mercy that gave me the privilege of being born again to a living hope. Thank You for giving me life with a wonderful expectation because You have reserved a priceless inheritance for me and for all Your children. Amen.

Good Wednesday morning my dear sweet & grateful steemians & uloggers! I praise and thank God for this devotion because I feel (lately) down and almost hopeless for the past weeks. Not to mention the almost never-ending rainy days. I really fear this coming months not because of the long list of due dates but because it's like "history repeat itself" month. I am NOT claiming it instead rebuking it in Jesus' Name. Its happening again, my eldest daughter was diagnosed with Anxiety Reaction two years ago (due to my failed marriage). Since then, I have observed that whenever the "ber" months occur, this diagnosis seem to recur. But this time, it was accompanied with Acute Peptic Disease. I feel so down and low. My heart was crushed because she was longing for a father. That is the real heart issue.

I praise and thank God because this scripture reminded me to hope in God. The best is yet to come. Yesterday, my eldest daughter together with my nanay's caregiver went to her dad's and she was able to talk to him through phone. That was in the afternoon while I was the one with my youngest, bring her to school. Got a very blessed and good news because of her perfect scores. Amen. :-)

I am in continued prayers for both of my daughters and I will always hope in God because " We have a "wonderful expectation" of our future in heaven and a priceless inheritance because we are His children and heirs." The best is yet to come. They have agreed that when their dad's home, they will go out and have bonding time together. I pray that they will have the best father-daughter time and each will feel the love of their dad on that promised date with them. I am just so happy for my daughters. And I will always be their no.1 fan, supporter, friend and mommy forever. :-)❤️
