Recycle - Re Use (DIY Jars)
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.
I hope your having an awesome day.
I am here again to show another simple and easy artwork. Since i have lots of empty jars hanging around and would not like to throw them, I opt to re use it and make it a pretty jars.
So, from here to there
First and foremost, let's remove the labels from the jar, here's how :
- Fill a very hot water to the sink or basin.
- put in the jars/bottles in to the hot water.
- add the (magic potion) 1/4 cup baking soda, some drops of dishwasing liquid and 1/2 cup vinegar. It may sizzles, due to the vinegar.
- leave it for 20 minutes.
(It should be look like this by now)
You will need :
- Glue gun
- Decoration (of your choice)
- Jar
- Once dried, Glue using the glue gun and decorate on your own liking, i choosed some artificial flowers.
Simple and easy.
So if you have an empty jar sitting around the house, Do Recycling or Re- use it.
This jar could be.....
a cottonswab container
or a cotton balls container
maybe a ponytail or a make up container
Of course it could be anything you like, be it a cookie jar, a sugar container etc.
Actually it looks like an item in a gift shop and kindda look like expensive, but it's actually a 30 minutes DIY craft. Haha
Great as a gift. Perfect for this season.
What decorations would you prefer to add in your jar?

Thank you for contributing your knowledge to help others! This post has been added to the Sotall.org Directory of Self Sufficiency & Survival posts. One of our goals is to provide access to the knowledge of our fellow Steamians, that will still be seen, long after the 7 day period is passed. If you write any future articles with instructions on how to do any tasks related to a homestead or survival, to ensure they are added to the directory, please submit them. They will be added as soon as possible.
Oh thank you so much. It is such an honor to be include in your directory. Yes mam, i will try to write more article of "how to" and homesteading. Just one question mam, what tag i should write in the tag section to be included in your directory?
