Lakes and Mountains part 2

Another name for this beautiful country is the roof of the world as it truly sits well and above other lands with the average land areas averaging many thousands of meters above sea level. Mount Everest also sits on its borders and so travellers have an opportunity to get a little close to the top of the world with their voyages.

Tibet is a beautiful country that sits between India, Nepal and China. It envelopes even the Himalaya region with some of the highest mountains on earth. As soon as I had arrived in Tibet, I was in awe at how many mountains were visible in the distance. It was an even greater feeling when driving around steep planes, ascending higher and higher towards the sky.
