Steemit awards 2018! Xmas special............
As I watch the @alpha account siphon all the cash out of steemit at xmas.
Does anyone want a bit of xmas fun? Naming some fantastic people on steemit, and giving them a reward and some sbd or steem?

You know how they do a yearly award for the year on TV, like a year in review yes? Well I invite you, if there is still enough active people on here, to make up the categories for a yearly review with regards to steemit and the community. Forget ned and stinc, concentrate on fellow steemians, and the categories that most interest you.
I am thinking 10 categories. Like most inspirational steemian, most helping, most argumentative (@lucylin :-)) etc etc etc.
I will gladly cover the sbd or steem with regards to the prizes. That is not my thing asking for money.
I am just asking if there would be any interest in a 1 off xmas special awards, with prizes?....
If the talented among you would like to make a banner for a winner, or make a image of a prize cup award that someone could add to their articles then bring it on.
Over to you, what do you think?

Sounds like a fun time, I sent some stuff to use for prizes. I like the three you have so far, inspirational steemian, most helping, most argumentative. I will have to think on it a bit more.
Cheers bro, did you send monsters? If so you need to teach me how to send them, my steemmonsters link has dead links, do I need to log in via another service to send them?
It's pretty simple to send steem monster cards. just click the collection tab, you find the gold cards in the "only gold" box, click that and they show up. Click on the card you want to send and you get something like below.
I have had this same problem for months, and everyone I have talked to no longer even speaks to me like asher, he got bored of me asking, look at my dead links apart from "close"
You need to check that tiny white box next to the serial number, then they all become live buttons.

People when trying to help others sometimes overlook the most obvious thing. Like that tiny white box. Kind of like life we all hate boxes so we ignore them., And yeah a good grumpy choice.

Great idea. I have some nominations for the funniest as in most amusing Steemian so I guess I'll propose that as a category. I would propose the most annoying but it is Christmas after all;)

By all means do, I am putting up 50 steem and @bashadow donated 5 -7 steem gold monsters, I would have to locate my notebook (old fashioned writing type) to confirm the exact amount.
It is 5 gold monsters he donated.
