Besides the fact I consider tax theft!

The new depths the UK government will sink to, to collect tax from small to medium businesses in the UK has hit a new all time low, they are (if they were a boxer) hitting people well below the belt!.
A recent (ish) change to the way they collect late or overdue tax is to seize property from the company or sole trader that is behind in their payment schedule. Even critical items to the success of the person or company can and will be seized. Lets say you were in IT, they will take away your computers and software and sell them at public auction for what ever price they can get, which is always going to be a lot lower value than any item is worth.

The reality of this action means the IT firm can no longer operate and is forced into administration or bankruptcy!

I have owned several companies and built them from the ground floor up, so have dealt with these so called people before, and when a tax person comes into your life, it is hell until they exit the door, with a fistful of your hard earned money or a cheque.

HM Revenue and Customs seized assets from 2,833 businesses last year as the government ramps up pressure on firms not paying tax on time.

I find it difficult to understand why anyone has to pay tax full stop!

I spent many a night in the summer around a camp fire chatting to my elderly mother regarding this and other things, she seems to think government need the tax for roads and for buildings and to pay their staff and themselves.
Okay if I go along with that I always come full circle back to the same question, why do they print money then want it all back!

If I can print unlimited amounts of £'s or $'s then why do I need to tax you? "control" is why. Nothing more and nothing less.

Having studied fiat currency extensively, the only reason I can see for taxation is to maintain debt, money backed by nothing but the paper it is printed on and your or my faith that is is worth anything other than a fire lighter is what maintains this illusion.

Debt built into fiat currency equals there is never enough money in the system to pay it all back, as with every £10 printed and loaned out, £10.10 is required back.

I noted a European politician even standing up and calling it what it really is, fraud!

I know about one man in America man that refuses to pays tax, based on his religion, and the court agreed with him when taken to court, so here is your get out of tax free card if you are in the states!!

An Oregon man who cites his Christian faith as a legal defense against the government in a felony tax evasion case has won the first round in court.

Michael Bowman told U.S. District Judge Michael W. Mosman on Thursday that that he is not a tax protester and considers himself a true patriot, but refuses to give a dime of his money if its allocated to fund government subsidized abortions.

Mosman noted in his ruling that prosecutors failed to prove Bowman tried to conceal or mislead the government by keeping a low bank account balance so tax collectors couldn’t garnish his account to pay taxes, according to The Oregonian.
