Random Thoughts

Life is a complex entity we cannot fathom, we get to learn, unlearn, relearn either from experience, thoughts, book etc.yet we don't get enough principle from it to be considered as ultimate with no need for adjustments. Scholars have tried to explicit their knowledge through audio recordings, books , seminars but sometimes it seems their experience doesn't work for everyone and most times we are bend on going with their formula and silencing that one true voice that speaks silently yet with force capable of making a change in ones life.

One factor that kills a man's dream , hope and life faster than seven bullets pierced into you is fear, mostly fear of the unknown. It was Marie Curie who said "Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood" . And most times we fail to try to understand rather become dreaded, insecure, nervous, guilty without finding out the "how, why, who and what".

An Arabic folk tale tells us that a wise old man travelling on the desert road to Baghdad, met the figure of pestilence hurrying ahead of him."Why are you in such a haste to reach Baghdad? The old man asked. "I am due to take five thousand lives in the city" replied pestilence. Later on the return journey, they chanced to meet again "you lied to me" said the old man reproachly "you said you would take five thousand lives but you took away ten thousand instead". "I did not do it" pestilence swore. "I took five thousand and not one more, it was fear who killed the Rest"

I switched my thoughts toward relationship and how people experience broken marriages and how many fear to end up with the wrong persons, and in careful study the Bible clearly said "in the beginning,it was not so". This mean there was a defect, the serenity of marriage must have been alter probably my men through our various principles , formulars and earthly wiseness and still get shattered home. Adam seeing Eve clearing recognise her as "bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh" without being told because there was a similarity between them, they shared certain feature that made him realised she must have come from him.

So to clearly recognize your spouse, she must have something similar as you, something people could point out as a virtue that you share. I wouldn't be surprised if I meet an anger man who has an anger woman, at least that's his bones, they have something in common. Life attract people like us not the kind of person we wish to have. But then something changed "they sinned" and Adam couldn't recognise his flesh anymore, he placed the blame on God, as the one who gave him. This is what sexual intercourse does, it blinds us from recognising our spouse and blame God, life and whatever for making us a choice.

Finally, I was dreaded of my future, I have big dreams, plans and well wished thought for myself and so I work day and night endlessly, sometimes with no results and few times with result. I have exhausted my well strategies and intellect but the cycle remains the same, work hard ,earn little. Then I realized a loophole, I have focused more on my strength than God's grace and making him the center of everything in my hustle. Only until then did I work little and earned much. For God said "the plans He has for me is of good and not of evil to give me an expected end" -the words "expected end" makes the big difference, I work hard everyday and am not sure of my expected end, but God gives us grace to have the expected end in our struggle for the future. The more we learn , the more we know.
