  1. What do you consider to mean being, Misunderstood?
Being misinterpreted implies that you are misconceived in what you say, do or even intend. It happens when someone misinterprets what you say or do in an unexpected manner and as a result, may cause misunderstandings or wrong conclusions. This may end up causing distance emotionally, trust or isolation even though you had good intentions.

  1. Have you ever been in such a scenario, and in case you have then please do share with us what your experience was.

You bet I have.In my initial semester to the university.I used to be very quiet and kept to myself. Most of my classmates believe that I was arrogant or unfriendly. As a matter of fact, I was simply introverted and adapting to a different setting. They did not understand each other well, thus, it was more challenging at the beginning.

  1. What do you think was your reaction to the misconception and how you did it?
I was offended and lost in confusion. and to be judged unjustly was annoying. But I chose to transform the scenario by attempting to be more approachable to other people. I also engaged in discussions, was willing to do group work and noticed people. Little by little my classmates came to know the real me and their view changed.

  1. Do you have some words of advice you would like to tell your readers so they do not face the same situation which you experienced?
Yes. Judging people prematurely is bad; there is a possibility that other people are experiencing what you are not. Before making assumptions always communicate and understand. Whenever you feel like you are misunderstood talk softly but give an explanation. A small amount of communication will correct a lot of misunderstanding and can establish stronger ties.
