"Contest 27 | My favorite outfit this week.."

This week, my most favorite outfit was a traditional shalwar qameez (light grey cotton qameez and a matching shalwar. It is made of soft material that is breathable and fits the summer season. The qameez is neat with a plain collar and little embroidering close to the buttons just providing the needed effect of sophistication. I normally wear it with black Peshawari chappals and silver wristwatch to have a clean and traditional eastern attire. I would like to demonstrate some photos, but unfortunately it is not allowed to do it here; just imagine a relatively cultured neat and beautiful style, which never goes out of fashion.

I prefer this ensemble as it fits well, has cultural depth and is multi purpose. It is perfect under the hot climate and everyday usage. Besides this, a shalwar qameez makes me have a great feeling of cultural identity. It is ideal to wear on the university, on Jummah prayers, and familial events or just outings. It is classic and decent and no matter what outfit I combine, I feel very chill and confident in it. It is the type of outfit that is at home.

I purchased this shalwar qameez at the Kareem Block Market located at the Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore. This market is remembered as the shopping place of cheap eastern wears and tailoring, good cloths. It is an energetic, active, local with nice traders and huge variety. Kareem Block is the place to go, in the event that you need inexpensive but fashionable outfits.
