I could probably make really good money selling my jewelry in the area you've been traveling in. You've seen the town I'm in. There isn't even a coffee shop here.
Your Jewelry would go well in Crested. They have laws against street vending, but, the Cops rarely patrol the main road in a way that they could see you. Both sides of the street are lined with cars giving you some pretty good cover. I kept a "Free Tarot" sign up just in case. Most people would "get" that you are selling if you simply sat there with jewelry while maybe working on a piece.
I also do pretty well just sitting in a sidewalk cafe or coffee shop and making stuff at the table. But artists actually have a constitutional right to sell art on any sidewalk in the U.S. The city laws are against selling normal items, but art is protected as it's considered free speech. The Supreme Court ruled that you can sell art for money and that does not dilute the protection. Here, I wrote a whole article on it...
Man, I make my money by the seat of my pants. Every time I get a little I'm like, hey, what is this green stuff? And I'm always amazed.
Thank you, shaman-ra. Upvoted and resteemed!
