One thing I love about Steemit and its community, is that I am not bombarded by Law of Attraction trolls. I used LOA from 2012-2015 and stopped using it for a good reason.

It Just Doesn't Work
It just doesn't work. If you are doing LOA, and thinking about money while you are panhandling, chances are, you got that money for looking like you were panhandling, not because of some mystical religion.
If someone buys my art, it is because they liked me or my art, not because I was sitting their mulling some mantra over and over in my head. If I did that all the time, no artwork would get done.
Besides, if LOA did work and we were all using it, how would all of the money redistribute itself? It wouldn't. We would be too busy thinking instead of doing. That money would not be going anywhere. IF it works. It doesn't, so my example is pointless. So, ha ha.
Where's the Art?
I don't know. I have been too busy walking and thinking about money coming my way. The number I am thinking about today is $400 so I can take a month off from this routine. Yeah, I will draw when I get off of here an into town.

you were panhandling because you decided that you desired money and committed to bringing it to the forefront in your mind by doing mantras. Thinking lead to behaviour or "doing" which resulted in money..you got what you desired.
What I was trying to attract was $40, which is what my art is priced at and deliberately so. That pays for arts supplies, food, weed and beer. The only things I require. I tried again the next day and made 0 money. In fact, I had 2 customers tell me, "I want to buy one, hold on, I have to go the ATM and I will be right back." THEY NEVER CAME BACK. This has happened at least 50 times since the start of this journey. But, thanks nonetheless.
i think its better to want the things you want rather than money. opens more possibilities. you have to let it go as well.
I sound like a dogmatic believer or something but really its just my 2 cents on how things could work. I have found things do come to me if i have them in the back of my mind. i would like a couch...found free couch on side of road...i want to make a dream catcher, find a metal ring on the road on the way to the gardens where i was going to collect feathers.
building materials are the thing that seem to pop out the most.
perhaps you could take payments on your phone?
I panhandled because it was too dark to do art anymore. I was forced into it. America is teaching me it is better to panhandle and be WORTHLESS instead of doing art, tarot, picking up trash, providing free "dad figure" for the public, etc. Don't get me started on LOA and "love" my friend. You won't like the truth.
I've never been to america but i have the feeling it would be a tough place to live.
I'm sorry you feel like you have to do it and it makes you feel worthless.
