I Love the God Damned Desert...
This is indeed true, in spite of the fact I often have to wander a deadly maze of pointed rocks and plants armed to the fucking teeth to get to my camp. I love this desert but, maybe my pants do not? They are getting some gnarly holes in them...
I love it enough to secure a free room about 7 miles away and walk all the way to it. The point in getting this free room was to free me of the burden of dealing with my backpack for a day. Considering it took 2 hours to walk the distance, there was no sense in walking back to try to sell art, only to have to turn back and walk another 2 hours back. I decided just to stay at the hotel room to enjoy myself and compose some music.
At least I made this video and got some nice pics of the local scenery.

Vortexes?
I learned that people out here will charge you to hang out at these energetic, "vortexes". Anything around here can be a potential vortex. To be charged to just hang out around here seems really silly to me. It is also silly to me that people pay $$$ here to meditate inside an Adobe style office building when there are millions of free places to meditate out in the desert. Perhaps I should be inspired and start charging people for just looking at my artwork on the street?
Yeah, my art is an energy vortex too. How much should I charge for people to see my art when these vortexes apparently cost $100 or so to enjoy?

I think you should charge people to look at your art in the street, maybe you could make a portable "vortex-kaleidoscope" or something where they could stick in their heads for a few bux per view, that would be hilarious to see by the way...
