Get Back to the Verse (In Reverse)
thE bEans is my most bizarre music project.
When I was a teen, my stepmother had a phonograph that allowed me to listen to music backwards and at high/low speeds, often revealing "Satanic" messages and such.
This was what inspired me to use samples the way I do with my current music.
Both lyrics and instruments take on a new life when used in reverse, as you will notice with this piece of pop-music disaster called, "Get Back to the Verse".
The main lyric, "Get Back to the Verse" backwards is "Won't you make me happy?". The Chorus line, "In Reverse" is "Serving Me" when played backwards. It is if this music is writing itself for me. Very little energy is put into making the lyrics. It is almost as if the Universe knows exactly what I intend to say?
