This is my participation in a contest Power of communication skill organized in Hindwhale Community by @hindwhale.
Do you agree with the statement "Communication skill is the power"? Why or why not? |

Yes I do agree that Communication skill is the power. It helps a person a lot, especially when it comes to professional life. If you have sharp words in your mouth, you can make room at any department, any company or any other business sector.
A nice communication skill gives you good convincing power. Convincing power in itself is a too much advantageous thing. If you are a marketing person best communication and good convincing power helps you a lot.
Along with it, a person have good communication skills have always high status in the society. People give importance to his/her words.
Can you provide an example of situation where "Communication skill is the power"? |

The best example I think where communication skill helps a person is in the field of marketing. As I have said marketing is all about convincing people, and good communication skill gives you convincing power. If you convince people you can easily sell our your products to them.
Communication skills also help a person in the field of teaching. A teacher having good communication skills are more easy to be understood by the students and I have seen in my student life that a teacher whose communication skill is good, is always the best teacher of the students. Students understand his/her lecture quit easily.
As I have mentioned above that nice communication skills make you a sophisticated person of the society. People start giving value to your words.
Some historical examples where "Communication skill is the power" led to significant change? |

Let me give a recent example from my practical life. I went to training on behalf of national bank of Pakistan. There I was the best trainee, because I have good communication skills. In demos and presentations teachers always praise my way of talking and presenting my words to the audience.
All these come to me with a practice. I have done multiple times presentations at university, which made me able to improve my commination skill.
Yes we have multiple examples in world history too. People use communication skills for brain washing purpose. Let's take an example of world wars.In world wars we have seen numerous instances of brain washing, even very young people war brain washed for taking part in war and fighting against enemies.
How can one improve their communication skills ? |

For improving communication skills the first and prior thing is to gain knowledge. Knowledge will gives you confidence and if you have confidence you can communicate with other boldly.
Improving communication skill is a practice base thing too. We need a lot of practice to be a good speaker. Try to participate in school and college events, it makes a person to much bold. He/she can speak at every platform, if he/she has participated in such events.

This blog is very interesting and informative. It is true that having the power of communication skills is a great advantage, especially in professional life. Good communication skills are not only essential for professional success but also enhance social status. The examples of marketing and teaching are very interesting and reliable, because in both the fields of convincing and clear communication are very important.
