Ulog#206 A Glimpse of Baguio City
After work, me, my girlfriend and my friend decided to go to church. It was still early so we went to the Parking lot of Porta Vaga mall which is beside Cathedral. Here are some photos that I took while waiting. I just loved looking at the cloud formation during that day. I also thought that I think Baguio is overpopulated judging from all the structures that you can see from the photos.
This is Baguio Cathedral/ Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral located at the central business district of Baguio. The start of construction was at 1920. It was completed at 1936, consecrated and dedicated to Our Lady of Atonement. This served as an evacuation center during World War II and it withstood the carpet bombing of Baguio City in 1945.
This was inside Baguio Cathedral. We had a solemn mass.
After attending church, we went to a restaurant at Porta Vaga Mall called 50's Diner. One thing that I love about this restaurant is the portion of the food and how cheap it costs.
From there, we met some colleagues at Mabini Street. We went to a place called PinWorx. It's actually a place where you can drink and play darts. It was my very first time going to this place. I didn't know that there were a lot of people who played this. Some of the players even had team shirts. It was actually fun to play darts. especially when it came to the part where your friends are teasing you. From the 5 of us my girlfriend was first and I was second.
Let me just share you a photo that I took last Friday after work. It just seemed so nice to take a photo of the moon from that angle.

Beautiful pictures of a wonderful day, @sgbonus! That shot of the cathedral with the sun streaming down on the left is particularly gorgeous, and I love your moon shot as well. Thanks for sharing your lovely shots!

Cool, are you from the Philippines? Hope you could visit soon :). Thanks for dropping by and have a great day!
You sure know how to take photographs. Congrats on your girlfriend and yourself being first and second. Had no one in your group ever played darts before? When I was a kid we did it a lot, there were dartboards in many public places, and that was back when kids could go into bars or buy cigarettes for their parents.
Thanks for the compliments. My girlfriend used to play darts and we were mostly noobs. Oh cool, I wish they could adapt that again. It must have been fun during those days.
Thanks for dropping by

Oh Baguio Cathedral. Last time we visited there was a mass on going and I wasn't able to explore. We stayed in a transient house near there somewhere. So many uphill climbs and my knees were killing me hahaha.
