2018 Steem Silver Round: Round 2 Voting In Progress
I was blown away by the support from the community at the quantity and quality of the designs we received for the 2018 Steem Silver round. Overall there were 27 designs eligible for the contest, which is over a 400% increase from last year!
After tallying the votes from Round 1, there were 7 designs that had over 20 votes. Each of the top 7 designs have moved onto Round 2!
Voting Rule Changes for Round 2
The voting for Round 2 will be a little different than how it was done in Round 1. After reviewing the voters and their habits in Round 1 we wanted to ensure past and prospective buyers ultimately have the say for the designs in Round 2.

In order to vote in Round 2 there are a few requirements:
- You can only vote for a single design in Round 2.
- You must vote by commenting on the post.
- A donation must be made to @steemsilverround in order for your vote to count. The minimum donation is 1 SBD. Larger donations are always appreciated, but you will still only get one vote.
- Each vote carries the same weight unless you already have sent a donation to @steemsilverround prior to the voting starting. These users will have their vote be worth twice as much.

Voting for the Reverse Design
The design contest that is being voted on is for the reverse or tails. The design for the obverse or heads (pictured above) of the coin will stay the same. Please note: some of the designs are digitally done, while others are closer to completed digitization. The winning design will be completely digitized properly and some changes may be made to the final design.

Bearone is the better of them.
The last one is great but it would look stupid to basically have two heads...it would be an awesome replacement for the heads though.
It really is interesting to see what people come up with they are given free reign to design whatever they desire!
Did you see the one that had the punch through? That would have been incredibly cool and we are going to talk with the mint about doing a run of those possibly in the future!

Yeah! But the mint said they could not do it at this time since the costs would be insanely high!

What will you do about everyone who's currently disobeying the rules and splitting their vote, will it go to round 3 for a final decision? I hope so because there's not enough votes to get my favourite through yet, #2 by ideaman is a stunning design! :-)
