Instagram Update. Mute option.
Haven't seen many People talking about this new update.
Now You can not only mute the posts but also the stories of users You follow.
For a long time I have seen People asking for this option to be a reality. Now it's here and in my personal opinion I don't think it will be positive.
Many Influencers and wannabe Influencers will try to take advantage of this and start following a huge amount of users muting them straight away hoping to get a follow back.
This will influence the numbers of views and likes. Many people will have huge followings but no engagement because everyone will fall on that same vicious circle.
What are Your thoughts on this new mute option on Instagram?
