Medieval Townhouses in Riga's Old Town
We are still in Latvia at the moment, so this post will be short and sweet, but Riga is a surprising city and I say that with lots of affection. Home to cute little restaurants, beautiful architecture and serving some of the best beers in Europe, it’s easy to see why Latvians are among the happiest people on the planet. Its iconic Old Town is picture-perfect and filled with the most colourful medieval townhouses. Everybody is so friendly, and we are here for a few more days. I cannot wait to see what else this beautifully green country has to offer :)

Hi! I have been in Riga a couple of years ago and the city got stuck into my mind. The town is lovely, the food is great and the people are joyful and friendly.
I loved the park by the river, specially when the sun created a set of lovely rainbows. What a marvellous place to rest after walking through the city!
My only disappointment was walking nearly 10 kms to the outskirts of town, to check out a Metal Music bar... Which no longer existed. It was quite a stretch... for nothing.
Still, I loved the week I spent over there.
