Well well well.. What do we have here!? An awesome realism piece from Scrawly???!!! WOW Scrawly!! You did a FANTASTIC job with this piece!!

I almost scrolled right by it thinking it was another photograph of flowers. When your looking at thumbnails of art, sometimes they look like photographic images. I did a retake and saw your name. Clicked on it and was supper excited to see this painting. Yea it took you a while, but look at these results! Sweet!!!

At first I did not like the splatterness you have been addicted to recently. Then After looking at it over and over again, the splatters look like water on the leaves and flowers. I am feeling ashamed to have thought otherwise now.. :-(

I use a hairdryer to speed up drying. Works perfectly. Just don't get too too close to the paper.. don't want you starting any fires!

Wow, your comment is so awesome, Brad! I am so mighty lucky to get something like this :D.

I'm not sure if I deserve your high praise, but I'm not going to disagree with you and I will keep this comment with me. Maybe print it even so I can read it on rainy days.

There's no need to feel ashamed about disliking the splatter. Sometimes I use it too much because their randomness pleases my brain. In this case, I do plan to make them look like water droplets, but on other artworks, I think I should use them more sparingly. Or else I'll be known as the splatter lover.

Hehehe, thank you for the great comment :D.

The Splatter Lover! Perfect. I hope what I said didn't sound judgmental. I just notice the splatters more now than before. They almost always look cool. Your not overdoing it so all is cool. It may become your trademark of sorts ;-)

Haha.. print the comment.. your silly. Do people even own printers anymore?? hehe. It really is a fine piece. Beautiful. What do you do with your work? Do you display it, give it away or sell it? Just curious.

You don't sound judgmental at all, your comment is grade A+ lol.

It's true what you said about printer. I have one but it's barely functioning, only for emergencies. But the good comments I actually keep them on special folders, like my virtual secret stash where I keep the treasures along with some other goodies like my old art that I like.

I haven't thought of what I should do with my traditional media artworks. I think I might frame one or two, the other I'll store away. Right now they're piling up at my desk, I should tidy it eventually.

Your watercolor painting are really good! Keep it up :)

You are really kind, thank you digi-me :).

I really like your flowers! I realized that you drew it for a long time, because the border between the leaves and the petals is visible, which means that you need to wait for the first layers to dry. I dried the work with a hairdryer.

Yesterday I wanted to paint with watercolors ... but I remembered that I had to prepare paper, paints ...... Digital painting makes me lazy))

Oh yes, hairdryer is a good idea. I actually have it nearby me but my dogs are afraid and bothered every time I turn it on so I instinctively avoid using it. They really dislike it when I dry their furs after bath, silly doggos lol.

And I totally understand the convenient of digital media. Now in my computer desk, there are stuff piling left and right with brushes, papers, old arts, water containers, etc. It looks really messy and not visitor friendly hahaha.

But I like your watercolour art and I want to see more of them!!! ^_^

Oh, you have dogs !! Are they small or big? I adore dogs and dream of them since childhood, but I can't have them, because our apartment is too small. But my sister has a Yorkshire terrier - I adore him, and he me)) As I dried he with a hairdryer, he was trembling with horror, so I understand what you mean when you do not want to use a hairdryer :)

I hope that soon I will show a new watercolor, as I registered for the online watercolor lesson next week :) And also I plan to paint small objects on lessons Shibasaki on these weekends :)

My family have big and small dogs, but I only have small ones. They're easier to manage in and out of the house and also cheaper on the food. Yes, I'm not sure why but they're terrified of bath time. Every time it happens, they always act like it's a great disaster, whining and being so agitated before and after bathing.

Ahhh! I am glad to hear that you are going to draw more watercolour artworks. Hehehe I will wait in anticipation :D.

You're doing just fine. Excellent progress. Many thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the continuous support :D.

Wow. I like your watercolor painting artwork too. Very gentle and pretty!

Ahhh thank you, koto-san. I am really enjoying myself with watercolours now ^_^.

Red and orange must be the most difficult of all the colours to work with, in watercolour, so that they retain their clear brightness. Bravo Scrawly. And all the different tones of green ~ Especially where the layers have been built up, have also retained their freshness. I love the strong contrast of the reds and greens too. Not always easy to work together, if they perchance overlap. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Ally, you're an angel <3. All your comments are filled with thoughtful wisdom and generosity. I will try to see the world from your eyes, because very often you will find something beautiful to impart to others.

Thank you, I hope right now you are somewhere away in a land of artistry :).

This is a lovely painting. Looks like you’re getting better with your watercoloring. :)
